Canta Conmigo Music Class was created to help children experience Spanish in the most natural way possible: through music, stories, rhythm, movement, and connection.

As a parent and educator, I wanted to create a space where children could hear and use Spanish in a joyful, low-pressure environment while caregivers participated alongside them.

Our classes are designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, and community. Children learn best when they feel safe, engaged, and connected, and music provides a powerful foundation for language learning.

Every month brings a new theme filled with songs, vocabulary, books, activities, and hands-on play that encourage children to interact with Spanish in meaningful ways.

About Your Instructor

Hi, I’m Jenn! I grew up listening to my mother and aunt converse with my Colombian grandmother in Spanish, which ignited a desire to learn the language and join the conversation. I have a BA in Hispanic Studies, a DELE C2 certificate, and I am a certified Spanish medical interpreter. I also have years of professional, educational and personal experience in Spanish-speaking parts of the world. I’ve brought my love of the language and culture to dozens of adults, children and families through group classes and individuals lessons. I have two children, ages 4 and 7, and this Canta Conmigo allows me to realize my longstanding dream of bringing our Spanish sing-alongs to a wider audience while building community.
